How does the FM radio on the iPod Nano Chromatic 5th generation work?
Does the iPod need to connect to a wi-fi access point to use FM radio? How does it work?

- it doesnt
- There is a FM receiver inside the nano. It doesn't have wlfi.
- it uses an FM chip that's inside and the headphones as an ariel
- its all based on electronics
- The radio doesn't need anything but headphones. It uses the cable as an antenna. Otherwise, the FM receiver is built into the iPod itself. No WiFi needed, particularly since the Nano doesn't have a WiFi antenna.
