Deck Radio

How do you remove the radio deck on an 01 tacoma?

I own a 2001 toyota tacoma and i would like to install a new radio deck, but the problem is i dont know how to remove it plus the space of the stock radio is a different size than any radio deck that i would install. What do i do?

1. The two link below should help you to take out your factory radio. You are going to need a mounting kit, that will make the aftermarket radio fit into your truck. You will also need a wiring harness for your truck. That will connect from your factory wiring harness so that you can connect the wires to your new radio. You can get these parts at most car audio shops. Also stores like best buy and circuit city have these parts. They will also be able to tell you exactly what parts to use for your truck. The mounting kit installation instructions i posted above were for a Metra mounting kit. Circuit city carries metra kits so you can go there if you want one. Good Luck!!!!
